I made it though Christmas, it was great. My son came for 4 great days, and we just enjoyed being together. We visited caught up, went to see Sherlock Holmes movie which was great. The show was packed, Tim had the good sense to go and get us seat, it was in the nose bleed section, which was great view after We caught our breathe. I love shopping at Christmas and the giving of gifts, and I use to love to see the joy that my gifts gave other. For years Christmas was such a joyful time before my parents and grandparents died. I really missed that time. Then for years I was unable to buy much because we were just financially unable. Then when I could, we lived hundreds of miles away from family, so we would come down and bring our gifts. They were so happy. Then my best and Use the loosely became friends again after a long time of separation. We I got to know her children and included her family in my Christmas present giving. then She had her first grandchild also included him. first thing I find out she is starting resent me bringing in presents to her family. Then I start noticing and thinking maybe no one is enjoying my heart giving present, So Christmas has lost its luster for me.
